Location and Method:

1- North Cove- This cove often has large fish in it during the spring. I like using tube lures and blsck/blue, redshad Texas rigged worms with 1/4 oz weight around shoreline cover. 2-3 ft near shore.

2- Small canal on North End- Spring spot with lots of seawalls. Bass often bed right next to the wall. Use your favorite sight fishing lures here. 2-3 ft deep.

3- Anderson Cove- Nice cattails for spring spawning fish. Use 1/4 oz weight with redshad, black/bluetailed worm. 4-5 ft deep.

4- Cattails- Spring or early morning/late evening summer spot. Use craws or worms here by pitching 1/4 oz. 3-4 ft deep.

5- Bulrush and cattails- Nice spring spawn area with big docks. Look for beds and use your sight fishing gear here. 2-4 ft deep.

6- Offshore hydrilla- If hydrilla exists this can be a very nice place to fish in the summer. Use Zoom flukes in the scattered stuff and work the outside with a 1/4 oz rattletrap silver/blue back.

7- Bulrush line- This is a good summer time spot early moning or late evening. Use 1/8 oz weight and redshad worm and cast to 3-4 ft water depth into bulrushes.

8-South Canal- Nice summer and fall spot aoften loaded with fish schooling. Hard to fool these fish, but a Zoom Fluke or Lil Fishy swim bait on 1/8 oz head can often be the ticket to catch these fish. A fast moving spinnerbait in chart./white with willow leaf rear and colorado front can also produce in 10-20 ft of water.
